Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, Hercules, Darkwing Duck, Bonkers, Rocko's Modern Life, Ducktales, Catdog, Angry Beavers, Where's Wally/Waldo, The Dreamstone, Inspector Gadget, Tabaluga, Ahh! I could go on forever. I know some of those shows weren't made in the 90s, but they were running on TV during the 90s, which is more than I can say for them now. Television in general today just sucks. In the 90s they wouldn't dare put so much reality cr*p on...for adults OR for children. I loved it when cartoons had a lot more story to them too, back when everything was traditionally animated (rather than cardboard cut-out tweened Flash characters) (and when a teen sitcom wasn't counted as a children's program....darn you Hannah Montana!!), when some of these shows had epic in every episode. Nowadays all the characters do is hang around a mall, school or house and just talk. It bores me.
This is my first stamp and it's for everyone who feels the same way I do about cartoons today. I really feel sorry for the children who have to grow up with this cr*p.

I can't STAND most new cartoons. I mean, superhero sushi? WTH? (No offense to any Sushi Pack fans that may happen to be out there... >_> It's like they only make cartoons now because adults learned it makes money... there's no LOVE in it...

Yeah I know. There's already a million people who LIKE Hannah Montana and all the teen shows taking over the set. I guess then corporate executives will figure out that they can make shows that are even worse for the next generation to like.
However there's no need to come to that conclusion. Some of us who liked the 70s, 80s and 90s cartoons (and study animation) will grow up to create new shows that will reflect the awesomeness in them.
Are you a fan of, "Stickin' Around"? If you want, you could check out my gallery. I made a bunch of stuff dedicated to the show and STILL doing more! ^_^
I guess I would be a fan. I like how the show looks like a children's scrapbook with stick figures and backgrounds with cut-out pictures and crayon drawings. It's so unique.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

But another thing is, what if this generation looks at the stuff now as we did with the stuff from back then as being cool? :/

The Classics are always the best.
And The Comedy Siblings rule.
However there's no need to come to that conclusion. Some of us who liked the 70s, 80s and 90s cartoons (and study animation) will grow up to create new shows that will reflect the awesomeness in them.

There's my Youtube playlist. Fox has edited the hell out of them though. Oh well. Better than nothing.
